Official Launch

“This Too Is Meaningless” is now ready.  I hope to post three or four movie reviews per week for your enjoyment and discussion.  My initial plan is to post a movie that starts with each letter of the alphabet, in order.  After that we will go where the movies may take us.

For the past year I have been writing reviews and posting them on the official Piradical Productions message board.  In that time I have written about 150 reviews, most of which sorely need serious editing before being posted here.  Writing the reviews for the members of the Piradical community in Indianapolis, Indiana, I incorporated two rating systems.

Aside from the standard Four Star system I also employed a Pirate Flag rating, from zero to four Pirate Flags.  These were intended to be an indication of how strongly I felt members of the Piradical community would enjoy each particular film.  Some of my reviews here will still carry a Pirate Flag rating, but unless you are a member of an independent punk scene in a Midwest town I dare not vouch for how accurate they will be for you.

Please leave comments on any and everything.  If there is an obscure or crappy movie you would like me to review I will be happy to oblige.  Likewise, if there is a classic film you would like to read about, please let me know.  I hope you enjoy the reviews!
