It many ways it is a typical post-apocalyptic film with the usual cast of characters -- a bleak landscape, a good guy, a bad guy, a lovely woman, crazed and sane citizens, Mad Max style rides, etc. But, the shooting and acting was excellent along with an interesting story that captivated me. I have a special fondness for sc-fi and fantasy but I especially liked Book of Eli.

It many ways it is a typical post-apocalyptic film with the usual cast of characters — a bleak landscape, a good guy, a bad guy, a lovely woman, crazed and sane citizens, Mad Max style rides, etc.

But, the shooting and acting was excellent along with an interesting story that captivated me.
