It wasn't a waste of time, but I think that for the amount of time that it has been hyped up, it just didn't match up to my expectations. Fortunately the first half actually somewhat hooked me, as it was quite well made and honest. Then the football happens and the movie loses its way quite a bit. However, I could not agree more about SJ being the most annoying and predictably over used character.
